We often focus our efforts exclusively on understanding how the exposure triangle works to get the correct exposure for an image, but don't spend enough time on ensuring our shots will turn out sharp. It can be easy to get a well exposed shot that we think looks great on the back of the camera, and then be disappointed at how blurry it is when viewing it at full size on the computer. If anything, focus is MORE important than exposure, as editing tools can often fix a shot that is not well exposed, but you can't do anything to fix a blurry shot!

Photograper Bio:
Meghan Maloney is a NZ landscape photographer and Sony Ambassador with a passion for capturing the vibrant beauty of nature. Meghan has a love for the artistry that long exposures creates with the use of neutral density filters, and she is an ambassador and reseller for the Kase Filters brand.
Meghan loves capturing the symmetry of reflections in nature, lush waterfall scenes and the vibrant colours of sunrise and sunset as well as NZ's incredible night skies. She specialises in small group photography adventures throughout New Zealand and overseas as well as private masterclasses for tailored one-on-one learning. Her suite of online photography learning allows photographers to hone their skills in their own time and at their own pace and she regularly shares free travel and photography tips on her website too.
