Program Description:
Seascapes at Sunset - A RAW to Awe editing experience
During this presentation Chris dives deep in Adobe Lightroom and shows you how to get the most out of your sunset seascapes. Chris will start from a RAW photo and take you through to a finished product ready to share or print. Why seascapes at sunset? Sunsets provide us with some of the most challenging color situations we experience in photography. Seascapes are also challenging because the water reflects that difficult lighting situation making it a double whammy of color challenges. Together with Chris you’ll tackle this edit challenge. Some of the topics to be covered include: Sharpening and Noise Reduction, White balance correction, Toning, Coloring, and Using Adjustment Tools for refined adjustments. In addition to the editing instruction, Chris will briefly go over the infield tools and settings that he uses to capture his seascapes.
Questions are encouraged throughout the presentation and at the end.
Photograper Bio:
Chris is a photographer and educator based in Long Beach, CA. It is a desire to teach, love for the outdoors, and photography which resulted in his role as a landscape photographer and educator. When not sharing his photography knowledge he can be found exploring nature’s beauty in his endless search for perfect light and discovery of new locations.
Growing up in Seal Beach, California, Chris developed a fondness for the power of the ocean through surfing and bodyboarding. As he developed as a photographer the power of the ocean was not lost to him. Seascape became one of his specialties due to his ocean passion and his abundance of seascape opportunities in the Greater Los Angeles area.
